Meetings on a Vespa in Piemonte

Our popular concept of a Vespa-safari is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, no matter the season. Anyone could manage these class 1 mopeds, and the feeling reminds you of the feeling of skiing together. Only here you’re riding in shorts and a t-shirt. [:]Our guides will take you from Barolo to Barbaresco via the slow food areas of Langhe & Roero. Our accommodations of choice are located in the scenic vineyards, with swimming pools and outstanding food. Vespa-riding and varied meals are alternated with walks through the vineyards and visits of historical castles and forts.

You choose the amount of meetings necessary and we adapt after you. Our all-time favourite is the cooking-and-eating combination supervised by the lovely “pasta ladies” of San Stefano. The trip can also be rounded up with a few days by the sea, should you be that way inclined. Ligurian cooking is worth the detour, especially when it involves the catch of the day, and the crisp white wines are a welcome treat after a walk along the steep cliffs of Camogli and Cinque Terre.

The Slow food movement was founded by Carlo Petrini in 1986 in the city of Bra. It came up as a counter movement to the fast food trend, and cherishes traditionally prepared and cooked local and regional crops. We also pass the Pollenzo University of Gastronomy and it’s fascinating buildings.
