In steep surroundings.<br \/>\nAfter our first trip to the Amalfi coast we are even more proud to claim this fact.<br \/>\nEven if we hardly found any tracks, it felt like this must be the place where the real<br \/>\nDahu was born.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-3899\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2010\/11\/trekking-the-amalfi-coast\/vagor-och-kustlinje-i-gongning\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3899\" title=\"V\u00e5gor och kustlinje i gongning\" src=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/V\u00e5gor-och-kustlinje-i-gongning-404x283.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"283\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These neighbourhoods get pretty crowded during the high season summer time. We<br \/>\nrecommend early spring or autumn for a visit. We might\u00b4ve picked a risky period in early<br \/>\nNovember, but the nature could hardly show off a more vivid and nuanced scenery.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-3906\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2010\/11\/trekking-the-amalfi-coast\/fargstark-kust\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3906\" title=\"F\u00e4rgstark kust\" src=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/F\u00e4rgstark-kust-404x258.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"258\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>By the shore, where the steep cliffs meet the wild November sea of the Mediterranean,<br \/>\nthat\u00b4s where the fishermen go out to find the biggest octopus and squid. Their<br \/>\ncharming settlements climb up the green hills, creating leaning villages. We like&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-3909\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2010\/11\/trekking-the-amalfi-coast\/luftigt-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3909\" title=\"Luftigt!\" src=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/Luftigt1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"547\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hitting off with some lovely hard steep uphill hiking from the excellent village of Praiano,<br \/>\nwe took the Sentiero degli Dei, &#8220;the Path of the Gods&#8221;. Once up around 600 msl. the track<br \/>\ngoes slightly downwards along the dramatic mountain side to end up in the more well-<br \/>\nknown neighbour village Positano.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-3912\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2010\/11\/trekking-the-amalfi-coast\/p1030375\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3912\" title=\"P1030375\" src=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/P1030375-404x303.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"303\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next day the Alpine Legends guide Lian took off to check out the close by island of<br \/>\nCapri, also a place hilly enough for a Dahu!<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-3913\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2010\/11\/trekking-the-amalfi-coast\/p1030385\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3913\" title=\"P1030385\" src=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/P1030385-404x303.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"303\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once on the top of the world of Capri, 582 msl, you can easily enjoy the 360 degree<br \/>\nview of the tropical island. But the urge of getting the right lift-feeling before the<br \/>\napproaching winter season forced us to enjoy the one-seater down to the village of<br \/>\nAnacapri. Once down we were ready for some locally produced limoncello and unbeatable<br \/>\npizza and gastronomic seafood, that you just find anywhere around here.<\/p>\n<p>We will be back.
