Big we go. We paddled through the canals of Stockholm.<br \/>\nStand up paddle, SUP, the new Stockholm hit. We had to try it out!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2011\/08\/stand-up-paddle-stockholm-2\/girlswent-big-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4854\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2011\/08\/girlswent-big1.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"girlswent big\" width=\"404\" height=\"541\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4854\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the beginning we did our best just taking control over the boards.Anna, Ida<br \/>\nand Jossan almost got into a fight about the seamanship.<br \/>\nWho is doing it the right way?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2011\/08\/stand-up-paddle-stockholm-2\/krock-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4857\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2011\/08\/krock1.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"krock\" width=\"404\" height=\"302\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4857\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After a while we got the hang of it. We did a two hour upwind cruise, through<br \/>\nthe canal of karlberg and up to city Hall and back.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2011\/08\/stand-up-paddle-stockholm-2\/go-ida\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4867\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2011\/08\/go-ida.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"go-ida\" width=\"404\" height=\"302\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4867\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Linda kept us strong and took the lead. Johanna just kept smiling.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2011\/08\/stand-up-paddle-stockholm-2\/lindajo\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4898\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2011\/08\/lindaJo.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"linda&#038;Jo\" width=\"404\" height=\"271\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4898\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We had an enjoyable day. Learned a lot. We did not crash with any boats, but<br \/>\ncaught some of their swells.<br \/>\nAlpine Legends SUP-pro Chris Balmer was missing out. We would have needed<br \/>\nhis magic stand up skills.
