{"id":19882,"date":"2012-03-10T20:05:58","date_gmt":"2012-03-10T18:05:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/schwarztour\/"},"modified":"2012-03-10T20:05:58","modified_gmt":"2012-03-10T18:05:58","slug":"schwarztour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/en\/schwarztour\/","title":{"rendered":"Schwarztour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u00b4s my birthday today, but since I am in a ski resort and everyone is working on<br \/>\nSaturdays I celebrated it yesterday with a nice day on the mountain.\u00a0 The tour<br \/>\nwe were doing is the most famous off-pist run in Zermatt, called the Schwarztour.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6102\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/03\/schwarztour\/liften-upp-till-klein\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6102 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/03\/LIften-upp-till-Klein-290x321.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"421\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is Sheila, Neil, Uffe and me all excited to go on the Glacier. We took the lift<br \/>\nup to Klein Matterhorn.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6103\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/03\/schwarztour\/hudar-pa-och-tur\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6103 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Hudar-p\u00e5-och-tur-289x321.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"421\" height=\"467\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To get to the Schwarzee Glacier you have to do a long traverse behind Breithorn.<br \/>\nFor the last part it is easier to put your skins on and then you skin for about 30 min.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6104\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/03\/schwarztour\/puder-och-niel\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6104 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Puder-och-Niel-323x321.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"421\" height=\"420\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Neil took the lead. There are several nice ways to get down and we got some nice turns in.i<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6105\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/03\/schwarztour\/schwarzee-glaciaren\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6105 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Schwarzee-glaci\u00e4ren-351x321.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"421\" height=\"384\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the middle you cross a beautiful part of the glacier. Almost like a post card!<\/p>\n<p>Some people headed towards Tommie\u2019s bowl, while we found a nice line on the right<br \/>\nside of the big bowl. At the bottom we stopped on the moraine for a picnic.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6144\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/03\/schwarztour\/img_1504\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6144 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IMG_1504-404x262.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"421\" height=\"273\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nFrom there we could see the persons that headed for Tommie\u2019s bowl coming back over<br \/>\nthe ridge and releasing a small avalanche. We also had a great view over our run.<br \/>\nIt is one of the longest off-pist runs in the Alps since you start at the top of Klein<br \/>\nat 3 982 m and you end in Zermatt 2\u00a0300 vertical meter down.<\/p>\n<p>We continued down the Death Valley as we call it. It is like a valley in the glacier.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6107\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/03\/schwarztour\/glaciartungan\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6107 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Glaci\u00e4rtungan-404x303.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"422\" height=\"316\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIn the end you pass through the glacier tongue.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6108\" href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/03\/schwarztour\/after-ski-sparkys\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6108 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/03\/After-ski-sparkys-404x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"421\" height=\"156\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We stopped for a quick beer at Arolied in the sun and then a short after ski at<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sparkysbar.com\/\">Sparky\u00b4s bar<\/a>.
