Like most of you already know, it<br \/>\nhas already been snowing down in the Alps. The glacier in Kaprun has been open for<br \/>\nabout a week and this coming weekend more snow is about to arrive. They are<br \/>\nexpecting about 60 cm of fresh snow. You can almost smell it in the air.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/10\/the-first-turns-of-the-winter-season\/img_5844\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7442\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7442\" title=\"IMG_5844\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_5844-404x301.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"301\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The winter is waiting for us around the corner. Finally.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/10\/the-first-turns-of-the-winter-season\/img_5848\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7438\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7438\" title=\"IMG_5848\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_5848-404x301.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"301\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But about skiing and doing your first turns of the season, it\u00b4s like you think you<br \/>\nhave forgotten how to ski, even though you still remember. You are just a bit unsure<br \/>\nof your own muscle memory. You are longing for it, especially now in the autumn<br \/>\nwhen skiing and the winter planning is the main topic among friends and family.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/10\/the-first-turns-of-the-winter-season\/img_5847\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7439\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7439\" title=\"IMG_5847\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_5847-404x301.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"301\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Before you have done that first turn of the season you are a bit unsure, right?<br \/>\nThinking \u201cwill I remember how?\u201d You are standing up on a top, mechanically<br \/>\ntightening your ski boots and grabbing you poles. Doing like you have always done<br \/>\nit, thinking the same pre-season-thought &#8220;maybe I was born to be a fisher man,<br \/>\nbecause I do not think I know how to do this?&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpinelegends.se\/blogg\/2012\/10\/the-first-turns-of-the-winter-season\/img_5850\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7443\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7443\" title=\"IMG_5850\" src=\"https:\/\/alpinelegends.se\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/10\/IMG_5850-404x314.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"314\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And like every year, you remember the word &#8220;Woohoo&#8221; and the big smile. Never say<br \/>\nnever and if you like fishing it does not mean you cannot ski&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We want lots of sugar on the peaks this year.<\/p>\n<p>ps.
